Edison Edison Insurance Group, LLC was formed by a group of private investors in Florida to create an insurance holding company that contained both an insurer and a MGA in order to write property coverages in Florida for the independent insurance agent. EDISON INSURANCE COMPANY received its certificate of authority from the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) on January 4, 2006. Edison is currently writing HO3's only but will look to introduce HO4's and HO6's in the near future. In addition, Edison will soon offer a WYO flood insurance program and other insurance programs through its MGA. With over 50 years of experience specific to the Florida insurance market and 75 years overall, Edison's management team will work directly with its appointed agents to create long-lasting partnerships. More importantly, Edison plans to allow each of its agents a given geographic area with a continuous market for property and flood coverages. Our goal is to offer state of the art web-based policy processing that integrates homeowners and flood into one system. Our processing system is hosted by Waterstreet. We chose Waterstreet to be
our system host and provider not only because they offered the best system
but also because they are located outside of Florida as part of our disaster
recovery and business continuity plans. In essence, our systems will never be
